The Mirror has an exclusive that Jack WIlshere will miss the start of the Premier League season next month, and that he will not be back until mid-September.
Wilshere has been put on a 12-week rehabilitation course after a double operation this summer, to fix his ankle problem and also fix a long-term knee tendon injury.
The Mirror reports that Wilshere will miss England’s World Cup qualifiers with Moldova on September 7 and the home game against Ukraine four days later which is what leads me to believe that he will not be back until mid
-September.
I get a sick feeling in my stomach every time I read about Wilshere’s battle to regain fitness. There have been so many breakdowns in his recovery from his ankle injury that you have to start to wonder whether he will be able to make it back and perform at the level he did before Arsenal ran him into the ground two season’s ago.
