It was confirmed Arsenal offered him to the Russian club in order to seal a season-long loan deal but he rejected the move saying he would stay and fight for his place with the Gunners,
Dan Petrescu, who is Dinamo Moscow's manager also confirmed the decision saying.
"I wanted to add this player to the team, but Andrey said no to Dinamo."
With the arrival of Gervinho and the presence of Benayoun at Arsenal last season, Arshavin lost his place and had to go on loan at Zenit St.Petersburg where he spent the last half of the season.
Since his return from loan, so many Russian clubs had made attempts to sign him but it seems his heart still remains at Arsenal. A move is now impossible for this period as the Russian transfer window was shut yesterday (Thursday) at 9pm.
Arshavin had earlier revealed he would only play for Zenit if he was to make a return to Russia.
