Jack Wilshere is now set to begin first team training, according to reports from The Daily Mail.
The youngster who played a significant role in Arsenal's 2010/11 campaign had been off the pitch for over a year now due to an ankle injury. So many return dates were set for his return but none came to pass as he kept of suffering set-backs which made him undergo surgeries on three different occassions.
He began ball work some weeks ago and is now ready to step up his fitness by resuming training with the senior team this week.
Don't expect him in action so soon. Arsene Wenger had said he wouldn't rush him into a first team start to avert further disaster. It had also been revealed that the club is trying to arrange an indoor friendly for Jack. Some Reserve games are also avenues for him to gain the required fitness.
With an already splendid midfield, the return of Jack Wilshere would make it a super duper one.
