Olivier Giroud Admits Reason for Not Yet Scoring at Arsenal.

Olivier Giroud who joined Arsenal from Montpellier is yet to bag a goal for his new club and had admitted it was as a result of fright whenever he was in front of goal.
He had played three matches so far , losing some great opportunities to add his name to Arsenal's book of scorers.

A number of fans had been so worried about Giroud's recent misses but the French international says he isn.t troubled but believes he would soon build the needed confidence.

'I've been freezing up a little bit just when I've been about to pull trigger and that's exactly what happened in my first few matches for France,' Giroud told FIFA's official website.

'I'm not too worried about it, because I've been scoring in training and I feel pretty comfortable being a part of this team. I just need to not think about things too much, so that I feel as relaxed as possible when the time comes to stick the ball in the net.'

As a Gunner, I am not moved by Giroud's present condition as I keep on telling people he would improve. Even some Arsenal legends like Thierry Henry and Dennis Bergkamp took some time to get their first goal at Arsenal so it is too early to criticize the innocent guy.

I still have the feeling that Giroud would score his first goal in our next game against Southampton. Ask me why and I'll tell you.
