Michael won the gold medals for the 4 x 400m relay in 1992 and also in the 400m dash at the 2000 Olympics. He currently holds the world record for 400m, a feat which he made in 1999.

Speaking to The Sun, Arsene Wenger said the athlete had no role at the club only that they do send down some players to his school to work on their physical fitness.
"He has no role at the club. He's a runner and we sometimes co-operate with his school," he said.
"We send players there if they need to work on physical aspects."
