Lukas Podolski Wins Goal of the Month Poll.

Lukas Podolski's free-kick in Arsenal's 6-1 win over Southampton has been voted by fans as "The Goal of the Month" for September.

The German scored a left-footed effort in the first half of that encounter at the Emirates. His goal claimed 27% of the votes while Alex Oxlade Chamberlain's strike against Coventry City in the Capital One Cup was second with 26%.

Theo Walcott's solo effort against Coventry [his second in that same game] was third with 10%.
