Ricardo Vaz Te Gets Punished for Attack on Mannone.

If you watched our game against Westham on Saturday and you are not the easily forgetful type, you would remember Mannone was given a stamp on the head by Ricardo Vaz Te after the goalkeeper claimed a through ball which was his.

The Portuguese seeing that the ball had been saved still rushed forward and landed his boots on Vito's head. I was expecting an immediate sanction from the official as I was aware such an action was a red-card offence. Nothing was done about that during that match and I was hoping the FA would look into the issue after the game.

The replays clearly showed it was a deliberate attack but it's good Mannone didn't get a serious injury. Chelsea goalkeeper, Peter Cech suffered such in the past and that's why he still wears that helmet on his head.

Ricardo got no punishment from a human being but karma dealt with him some seconds after his unruly behaviour. He was moving at a fast speed and his miscalculation saw him land on the floor, thereby dislocating his shoulder. There was an update about his injury yesterday [Sunday] which stated that Vaz Te would be out for three month.

Please this article isn't one which is meant to cause joy over Ricardo's injury. I just want to make it clear that expect what you do to others, be it good or bad upon yourself too. What goes around, comes around.
Good morning.
